You set things up once. After that, every payment follows the rules you chose.
Some digital dollars come with rules: they can only be sent between people whose identity has been checked. Floatless supports them with Cleanverse on Monad testnet, and checks the rule in three separate places so no single one can be skipped.
Floatless asks Cleanverse whether both you and the person you’re paying are verified for that exact dollar. If not, the app tells you who isn’t and stops there.
For email wallets, Floatless’s signing service runs the same check again and refuses an aUSDC transfer Cleanverse hasn’t just approved.
The regulated dollar contract on Monad rejects transfers to unverified wallets, even if someone skips Floatless entirely.

No. Floatless is an app for a wallet in your name. Your balance is held in digital dollars (stablecoins) in that wallet on Monad, not in a Floatless account, and you can check it on the explorer at any time.
If you sign in with a passkey, only you: it lives on your phone and is unlocked with Face ID or your fingerprint. If you sign in with email, Floatless signs for your embedded wallet through Privy after you confirm in the app. Either way, every payment has to fit the spending rules you signed.
Monad is the public blockchain Floatless runs on. It’s fast and cheap enough for everyday payments. You don’t need to know anything about it to use the app, but anyone can look up your rules and payments on it to check they’re real.
Cleanverse verifies identities for regulated digital dollars. When you pay with those dollars, Floatless checks with Cleanverse that both sides are verified, and every payment comes with a Travel Rule report you can download.
